FLT Reach Driver

PSI Talent are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Reach drivers to join our international client based in Oakham. We are looking for committed candidates with a desire to find a long-term career path who can develop and grow within the company. This position is a temporary to permanent role and our client invests heavily in the ongoing training of the staff within. Your role will involve supporting other areas of the business such as production in dispatch, picking within the warehouse but mainly you will be on the forks driving either CB or Reach truck.  

Shift patterns and working schedule – Monday to Friday 05.45am-2.15pm or Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

Pay Rate – £12.00 per hour

Initially, your role will include:

• Handling and delivery of components/parts to production assembly lines
• Physical preparation and packing of customer orders
• Stock Maintenance assistance
• Loading/unloading lorries
• Highlighting issues/risks with warehouse/forklift systems/processes and propose remedial action/resolutions for discussion/agreement
• Support in Despatch processes
• Correct/Safe storage of machines and goods, ensuring Safe Working Loads (SWL) are not exceeded
• Stock Location/Identification and Storage Management

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse experience and a minimum of 1 year’s experience driving CB and Reach truck
• Must hold a valid personal licence
• Be committed to the role long-term
• Work well in a team
• Have a desire to learn and progress within the company
• Have experience in a similar environment – SAP experience would be highly advantageous
• Have a good level of written & spoken English
