Job Description

As the Business Development Manager, your primary goal is to enhance the sales of our technical dosing and chemical systems. Operating within dedicated regions globally, you will manage existing clients, foster new business development, and provide technical expertise to current clients. As an integral part of the expanding global sales team, your focus will be on the development of the UK and Scandinavia regions within a rapidly growing organisation. Acting as a liaison between customers and our Design Team, you will identify market opportunities, contribute to global distributor training, and support the overall growth strategy.

 

Business Development Manager’s Role and Responsibilities:

  • Expand the existing client portfolio by comprehensively understanding their business strategy and objectives.
  • Identify new business leads within targeted business segments to drive growth.
  • Secure business meetings with key personnel and ensure prompt follow-up on actionable items.
  • Develop new business, including introducing new products, in alignment with agreed annual targets.
  • Tailor and deliver high-quality presentations, sales pitches, and tender documents.
  • Maintain appropriate gross profit margins for the portfolio.
  • Achieve sales budgets as mutually agreed upon.
  • Provide technical support and global customer training.
  • Contribute to the New Product Development (NPD) program, becoming a Product Champion on specified projects.

 

Business Development Managers Benefits

  • Salary: £45k – £50k (DOE)

To be considered for this role, you need to have proven experience in business development manager – technical dosing and chemical systems, hygiene or a related industry. You need to demonstrate string financial acumen and the ability to understand complex financial solutions. Furthermore, you must be self motivated with a drive to achieve targets.
