Export and Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a global business in their local office, based on the outskirts of Chester. It is a 12-month fixed term contract joining a small, motivated team as an Export and Supply Chain Administrator. You will become part of a worldwide leader company in their sector, with a great focus in sustainability.

 

The role will be 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. You will receive an extensive onboarding programme and ongoing training, with the scope to develop and learn.

 

The Export and Supply Chain Administrator will support the export market, ensuring shipments comply with regulations and company processes. This will include all documentation and liaison with the factory warehouse in order to deliver a high service level for customers.

Responsibilities:-

  • Support the sales department mainly on exports to outside the EU
  • Act as a main contact for export customer service activities
  • Monitor production planning and notify internal customers of any delays
  • Collect internal prices and update in ERP system
  • Liaise with internal customer as required from order entry to dispatch/receipt of goods
  • Place customer order entries in the ERP systems (SAP/Exact)
  • Amend dispatch dates if required
  • Review red/green report and open order book situation daily
  • Create Certificates of Origin via Chamber of Commerce
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to collect and deliver goods to customer specifications
  • Fulfil and raise invoices daily in an accurate manner
  • Establish daily communication with warehouses via telephone and email
  • Capture incidents and complaints and log them in the management system
  • Collect evidence and participate to the resolution survey
  • Book the daily incoming goods from the warehouse
  • Create weekly labels for production and make amendments if needed
  • Update Purchase Orders for planning
  • Use of hazardous system creating Dangerous Goods Notes and/or transport labels
