As a Media and Events Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving sponsorship, partnership, and advertising revenues, plus work on some of the leading manufacturing events in the UK. This role involves a blend of face-to-face and telephone sales, occasional UK and overseas travel, and a focus on delivering high-quality, targeted audience exposure for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenues across allocated brands.
  • Promote and sell opportunities to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare strategic, need-based campaign proposals.
  • Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Oversee delivery of sponsorship packages at live and digital events.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to exceed client expectations.
  • Forecast and report revenues on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain high levels of outbound prospecting and contacts.
  • Attend key exhibitions and meetings in the UK and overseas.

Essentials:

  • B2B or B2C sales experience in advertising, media, or events.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a documented history of over-achievement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Word, Excel, and database packages.
  • First-class presentation building skills.
  • Impeccable organization across multiple complex projects.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Business or Marketing (an advantage).
  • Willingness to travel overnight in the UK and overseas.
